How to Get Rid of the Adult Child or Anybody Else Who Overstays Their Welcome: The Dynamics of Abuse, Protective Orders, and Eviction
Attendees will obtain a basic understanding of the dynamics of elder abuse and financial exploitation and learn to spot the signs of exploitation of elder clients when the perpetrator is a family member or other trusted individual. Further, attendees will come to understand the client’s legal options for removing an unwanted "guest" from the home, and the basics of the eviction process in Minnesota.
